Triangle Bikeworks is once again excited to bring you the Black History Month bike ride through the towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
Get ready for a joyful and energizing ride that has just the right distance for the young and old, cyclist and non-cyclist. The ride is designed to hit various points of historical importance and interest.
We can't think of a better way to come together and celebrate Black History in the towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro than to be on a bike and re-discover significant locations of historical interest to the great citizens of these two towns.
Total route length: 5 miles
Event Details:
-12:30 PM: Event begins
- 12:35-12:45 PM: Bike checks and gathering with Brief remarks from members of TBW
- 12:50 PM: Ride departure
- The route begins and ends at YouthWorx on Main 117 W Main St in Carrboro.
- The route is approximately 5 miles. We will ride together and look to see proper bike etiquette maintained at all times.
- All are welcome to join. This is not a competition or race.

SAFETY POLICIES:
- All cyclists must wear a helmet while cycling.
- As it is an outdoor event, masks are optional.
- If you do not feel well or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the 14 days leading up to the event, please stay home.
